John Meillon

Biography

John Meillon was a legendary Australian actor born on May 1, 1934, in Mosman, Sydney. He began his acting career at age eleven in the ABC's radio serial "Stumpy" and later joined the Shakespeare Touring Company at sixteen. Meillon won the AFI Award for Best Actor in 1976 for his role in "The Fourth Wish." He is best known for his iconic roles as Walter Reilly in the films "Crocodile Dundee" and "Crocodile Dundee II."
