Aya Ueto

Biography

Aya Ueto is a Japanese actress and singer born on September 14, 1985. She won the special jury prize at the seventh Japan Bishōjo Contest in 1997 and later formed the girl group Z-1 with fellow contest participants. Ueto made her acting debut at thirteen in the thriller Satsujinsha: Killer of Paraiso and went on to secure critical acclaim for her portrayal of a high school student with gender dysphoria.
