Thermae Romae II

In this hilarious and fantastical comedy, Roman bathhouse architect Lucius (Hiroshi Abe) travels through time to modern-day Japan, where he reunites with his old friend Manami (Aya Ueto), a reporter covering the latest bathroom trends. As they team up to design a new thermae, Lucius must navigate the challenges of ancient Rome's politics and his own temporal displacement. With the help of a tribe of Japanese people with flat faces, Lucius works to bring peace and relaxation to the Roman Empire - all while facing opposition from the Senate and Emperor Hadrian (Masachika Ichimura).
