Masachika Ichimura is a Japanese actor born on January 28, 1949, in Kawagoe, Saitama. He made his debut as an actor in Jesus Christ Superstar in 1973 and went on to become one of the top actors at Shiki Theatre Company, performing in notable musicals such as West Side Story and The Phantom of the Opera. After leaving Shiki Theatre Company, he reprised roles in various anime and video game franchises, including Pokémon's Mewtwo.
