Muguette Mary "Megs" Jenkins (21 April 1917 – 5 October 1998) was a British character actress known for her nuanced performances on stage and screen. A former ballet dancer who abandoned her ambitions to pursue acting, she gained critical success in the 1950s with roles in plays by Emlyn Williams and Tennessee Williams. Her notable film appearances include "A View from the Bridge" (1956) and "Oliver!" (1968).
