In the gritty docklands of Cardiff's Tiger Bay district, a young girl named Gillie witnesses the brutal murder of a young woman. Instead of reporting the crime, she pockets the killer's shiny black revolver and flees, weaving a web of lies to throw Detective Graham off her scent.
