Paolo Stoppa was an Italian actor born in Rome on June 6, 1906. He began his career as a stage actor in 1927 and transitioned to film acting in 1932, with notable roles in classics like "Miracolo a Milano" (1951) and Luchino Visconti's adaptations of Chekhov and Shakespeare. Stoppa also made over 190 appearances on screen before his retirement in 1983.
