After the Fox

In a riotous heist comedy, Peter Sellers stars as Aldo Vanucci, a master thief known as The Fox, who poses as an Italian neo-realist director to smuggle stolen gold into Italy. As Vanucci navigates the absurdities of the film industry and outruns corrupt gangster Victor Mature's over-the-hill matinée idol Tony Powell, he must maintain his ruse while dealing with real-life consequences, including a hapless family in need and the attentions of an unimpressed police critic.
