Hillary Brooke

Biography

Hillary Brooke was a Swedish-American actress born Beatrice Sofia Mathilda Peterson on September 8, 1914. She began her career as a model and later co-starred in three Sherlock Holmes films with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. Brooke regularly appeared on television series in the early 1950s, including My Little Margie, where she played Roberta Townsend from 1952 to 1955.
