The Maze

A mysterious Scotsman named Gerald MacTeam (Richard Carlson) breaks off his engagement to Kitty Murray and moves to his uncle's castle in the Scottish highlands after receiving word of his uncle's death. He inherits the castle and lives with its servants, but when Kitty and her aunt arrive, they discover he has suddenly aged and changed significantly. As strange events unfold in the castle's hedge maze, a mysterious frog-like creature is revealed to be the master of the castle, Sir Roger MacTeam, whose death releases Gerald from his obligation, allowing him to return to normal life.
