Robert Quarry

Biography

Robert Walter Quarry was born in Santa Rosa, California, to a doctor father and actress grandmother. He began his career in radio at age 14 and later joined the US Army during World War II, forming a theatrical troupe before returning to acting. Quarry gained prominence for starring roles in horror films like Count Yorga, Vampire (1970) and Dr. Phibes Rises Again (1972), alongside Vincent Price. He continued working in film and television until his 2009 death at 83.
