Biography

Jim Kelly was a decorated karate champion and actor who rose to fame in the early 1970s with roles in martial arts and blaxploitation films. His appearance alongside Bruce Lee in "Enter the Dragon" (1973) launched his acting career, leading to starring roles in "Black Belt Jones" (1974) and "Three the Hard Way" (1974). Kelly was also a professional tennis player and later became a successful martial arts instructor, opening his own dojo in Los Angeles.
