Biography

Petr Čepek was a Czech actor born on September 16, 1940, in Prague. He co-founded The Drama Club theatre in Prague and was known for his prolific film career, including notable roles in "Faust" (1994), "Ferat Vampire" (1982), and "The Valley of the Bees" (1968). A double role in Švankmajer's "Faust" earned him a Czech Lion Award posthumously. Čepek taught at the Academy of Performing Arts until his death in 1994.
