She was part of Preston Sturges' "stock company" from 1940 to 1949, appearing in seven films written and directed by the iconic director. Her notable performances include Mrs. Kraft in "Born to Kill" (1947) and Filthy Flora in "Dick Tracy vs. Cueball" (1946).
