Joseph O'Conor

Biography

Joseph O'Conor was a talented Irish actor and playwright born in Dublin on February 14, 1916, to Daniel and Frances Call. He attended the University of London and RADA before making his professional stage debut in 1939 with roles in Julius Caesar. A highlight of his career included his portrayal of Sir Edward Julyan in the 1974 film adaptation of Agatha Christie's The Black Windmill.
