Biography

Jim Hutton was a promising American actor in film and television, best remembered for his role as Ellery Queen in the 1970s TV series of the same name. He also starred alongside Paula Prentiss in four films, including "Where the Boys Are." Born on May 31, 1934, in Binghamton, New York, Hutton struggled with behavior problems that led to expulsions from multiple schools before earning a scholarship to Syracuse University's journalism program.
