Ten Seconds to Hell

In post-war Berlin, Jack Palance's character Eric Koertner and Jeff Chandler's character Karl Wirtz are members of a bomb disposal unit tasked with clearing the city of unexploded Allied bombs. They form a wager that will divide their salaries among the survivors in three months' time, but only two men remain at the end of the period. As they navigate the dangers of their work and personal relationships, Eric and Karl's rivalry turns deadly when Eric discovers Karl's true intentions.
