Don't Be Afraid of the Dark

Kim Darby (Sally Farnham) and Jim Hutton (Alex Farnham) inherit a mansion from Sally's deceased grandmother, where they discover a bricked-up fireplace in the basement den that supposedly needs to be left alone. As Sally tries to remove the bricks, she unknowingly frees small demon-like creatures who are determined to make her one of their own. The couple's attempts to uncover the truth behind the house and its strange occurrences lead to a series of frightening events.
