Robert Allen

Biography

Robert "Tex" Allen was a leading actor in both feature films and B-movie westerns from 1935 to 1944. He gained notoriety for his role as the male lead in Love Me Forever (1935) and later starred in six films as the Ranger, opposite Wally Wales, before being replaced by Roy Rogers. Allen continued to work in various forms of entertainment throughout his life, including Broadway productions and real estate.
