Every Which Way But Loose

Philo Beddoe, played by Clint Eastwood, is a truck driver and bare-knuckle fighter living in the American Southwest. His life takes an unexpected turn when he falls for a flighty singer named Lynn Halsey-Taylor, who leads him on a chaotic chase across the region with a motorcycle gang, corrupt cops, and legendary brawler Tank Murdock hot on his heels. Along the way, Philo's unlikely friendship with his pet orangutan Clyde provides comedic relief and unexpected heroism.
