Biography

Bill McKinney was a character actor known for his roles in Deliverance and seven Clint Eastwood films. He played a sadistic mountain man who abused Bobby Trippe in John Boorman's 1972 film. McKinney also appeared in The Outlaw Josey Wales, portraying Captain "Redlegs" Terrill, the commander pursuing Union rebels. His distinctive presence often conveyed a sense of danger and authority on screen.
