FBI agent Barney Coopersmith is assigned to protect former Mafia figure turned informant Vincent Antonelli in the Witness Protection Program, but Vinnie's inability to keep a low profile puts him in constant danger from his old associates. As their unlikely friendship deepens, they find common ground despite their vastly different backgrounds, leading to a series of comedic misadventures and unexpected romance. The film's lighthearted tone balances its crime comedy elements with a heartfelt exploration of the human need for connection and belonging.
