Funny Games

When Ann, her husband George, and their son Georgie arrive at their lake house vacation home, they are met by two seemingly pleasant young men named Paul and Peter who proceed to terrorize and torture the tight-knit family with a series of sadistic games, forcing them to survive until the next day. The film follows an affluent family as they are captured and tortured by two young criminals on their vacation, exploring themes of violence used in media and featuring a unique shot-for-shot remake of Michael Haneke's original 1997 film.
