Brady Corbet is an American filmmaker and former actor born on August 17, 1988, in Scottsdale, Arizona. He made his directorial debut with The Childhood of a Leader (2015) and co-wrote/directed the musical drama Vox Lux (2018). His period epic The Brutalist (2024) earned him critical acclaim, including Silver Lion, BAFTA, Golden Globe for Best Director, and three Academy Award nominations.
