Forbidden Planet

In the 23rd century, after over a year's journey, the United Planets starship C-57D arrives at the distant planet Altair IV to determine the fate of the ship Bellerophon, sent there twenty years before. Dr. Edward Morbius, one of the original expedition's scientists, warns the ship not to land for safety reasons, but Commander John J. Adams ignores his warning. The crew soon discovers that they are unwelcome by the sole survivor of the Bellerophon expedition and warned of destruction by an invisible force if they don't turn back immediately. As tensions rise, a series of mysterious events unfolds, leading to a terrifying confrontation with an alien creature born from the Krell's own subconscious desires.
