The Silent Partner

A Toronto bank branch is about to be robbed, but Miles Cullen, a bored teller, anticipates the heist when he finds a disconcerting note on one of the counters. Instead of reporting it, Miles stashes cash from his transactions in an old lunch box rather than in the bank's till. The stolen money sets off a cat-and-mouse game between Miles and the mall Santa Claus, Harry Reikle, who threatens to kill him unless he gets the money back.
