The Bedford Incident

During the height of the Cold War, a U.S. Navy destroyer, the USS Bedford, patrols the North Atlantic waters in search of Russian submarine activity. Captain Eric Finlander, a tough and experienced commander, leads his crew into a cat-and-mouse game with a Soviet sub, pushing them to their limits as he seeks to outmaneuver the enemy vessel. As the situation escalates, tensions rise among the crew, and the ship's doctor, Lieutenant Commander Chester Potter, tries to ease Finlander's grip on reality, all while a civilian photojournalist, Ben Munceford, chronicles the events unfolding around him.
