The 2018 Canadian drama film "Through Black Spruce" follows Annie Bird (Tanaya Beatty), a Cree woman from Moosonee who embarks on a journey to find her missing twin sister Suzanne in Toronto, aided by Jesse (Kiowa Gordon), the last photographer to work with Suzanne.
