The Asphalt Jungle

In this gripping 1950 heist film noir, legendary burglar "Doc" Riedenschneider, freshly released from prison, assembles a small group of veteran criminals to pull off a massive jewel heist in an unnamed Midwestern river city. With funding from the crooked lawyer Alonzo Emmerich, Doc's plan is to yield half a million dollars or more. But as the crew executes their daring heist and the police close in, it becomes clear that nothing is as it seems in this tense game of cat and mouse.
