Shoot Out

Gregory Peck as Clay Lomax, Patricia Quinn as Juliana, and Jeff Corey as Trooper star in the 1971 Western film "Shoot Out", directed by Henry Hathaway, based on Will James's 1930 novel "The Lone Cowboy". The story follows Clay Lomax, a bank robber, as he is released from prison and must evade a trio of thugs hired by his former partner, Sam Foley, who betrayed him. Along the way, Lomax forms a bond with a young girl, Decky Ortega, who may be his daughter, and together they face danger and confrontation in a series of intense shootouts and chases.
