The Pirates in an Adventure with Scientists T4 Movie Special

In 1837 London, a ragtag crew of amateur pirates, led by the enthusiastic Pirate Captain (Hugh Grant), enters a Pirate of the Year competition, where the winner is determined by who can steal the most treasure. Along the way, they capture Charles Darwin, who helps them enter the Scientist of the Year competition with their dodo, Polly, which wins the competition. The Captain, posing as a scientist, poses with the dodo, revealing his true identity and earning Queen Victoria's (Imelda Staunton) pardon, but only after Charles (David Tennant) confesses Victoria's sinister plan to eat Polly at a banquet. The Captain and Charles then steal an airship and rescue Polly, but their victory is short-lived as Victoria revokes the Captain's pardon, and the adventure continues with the crew now accompanied by Bobo, the chimpanzee.
