Merantau

Yuda, a skilled practitioner of Silat Harimau, leaves his idyllic farming village in Minangkabau, West Sumatra, to pursue a career in Jakarta as part of the community's "Merantau" tradition. He meets Eric, another silat expert, who warns him about the difficulties of making a living teaching silat in the city. Yuda's life is turned upside down when he encounters his sister Astri, who is being abused by her boss Johnny, and later, he must rescue her from human traffickers. Along the way, he fights his way through thugs and eventually confronts and kills the mastermind behind the trafficking ring.
