Le gamin au vélo

A young boy, Cyril, is abandoned by his father and left in the care of an unqualified childcare provider, Samantha. She shows him kindness and provides a happy home, but Cyril's desire for his father's approval haunts him. He becomes involved with a local gang leader, Wesker, and gets into trouble, straining his relationship with Samantha, who tries to hold him back. In the end, Cyril's desire for independence and acceptance leads him to ride away on his bike, leaving Samantha to worry for his safety.
