Royal Flash

Malcolm McDowell stars as Captain Harry Flashman / Prince Karl Magnus in a comedic adventure film about his schemes to gain entry to royal circles of 19th-century Europe. At the urging of devious nobles, Flashman agrees to impersonate a bogus Prussian nobleman to woo a beautiful duchess, but the plan unravels, and he's soon on the run from new enemies. Alan Bates plays Rudi Von Sternberg, while Oliver Reed appears as Otto von Bismarck, and Florinda Bolkan plays Lola Montez.
