Lisbon Story is a 1994 film directed by Wim Wenders, a sound engineer (Rüdiger Vogler) receives a mysterious postcard from a friend, Friedrich Monroe (Patrick Bauchau), who is filming a movie in Lisbon. The sound engineer sets out to find him and helps him capture the "unseen image" of the city, a concept that drives Friedrich's filmmaking ambitions. Along the way, he meets other individuals, including the famous Portuguese folk music group Madredeus and Manoel de Oliveira, who make cameo appearances.
