Sweet Bird of Youth

Paul Newman plays Chance Wayne, a handsome, young gigolo and drifter who returns to his hometown of St. Cloud, Mississippi, as the companion of a fading movie star, Alexandra Del Lago. Chance's return sparks trouble when he runs into his ex-girlfriend, Heavenly Finley, the daughter of corrupt politician Tom "Boss" Finley, who had forced him to leave the town and his daughter many years ago.
