The Duel at Silver Creek

In the 1952 Western film "The Duel at Silver Creek," Luke Cromwell, known as the Silver Kid (Audie Murphy), joins forces with Marshal Lightning Tyrone (Stephen McNally) to free the town of Silver City from ruthless claim jumpers, led by Rod Lacy (Gerald Mohr). The outlaw gang brutally murders Cromwell's father, prompting him to seek revenge. As Cromwell and Tyrone work together to bring down the claim jumpers, Cromwell also develops feelings for tomboy Jane "Dusty" Fargo (Susan Cabot), who is romantically involved with the marshal.
