Gulabo Sitabo

The film follows the lives of two peculiar individuals, Mirza Chunnan Nawab, played by Amitabh Bachchan, a stingy old man who owns a dilapidated mansion in Lucknow, and Baankey Rastogi, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, a poor tenant struggling to pay his rent. When Baankey's attempts to pay his rent are thwarted, he decides to exact revenge on Mirza, who hires a local lawyer to try and evict him. However, their plans are complicated when it is revealed that Mirza's wife, Fatima Begum, is actually still alive, having eloped with an old lover, and the mansion is sold to him for a rupee.
