The Reluctant Debutante

In 1958, American teenage girl Sandra Dee is thrust into London's high society during its final Debutante Season when she visits her wealthy father, Lord Jimmy Broadbent. Rex Harrison plays her father, while Kay Kendall stars as his wife, who tries to introduce Dee to society despite their stepchild relationship. As Dee navigates the debutante balls and young men, she falls for a drummer named David Parkson, played by John Saxon, amidst complications with an upper-class suitor, David Fenner.
