Runaway

In a future where robots are commonplace, a veteran police officer, Jack R. Ramsay (Tom Selleck), joins a division trained to handle malfunctioning robots, known as "runaways." When a robot turns out to have been programmed to kill, Jack and his new partner Karen Thompson find themselves handling the first robotic homicide. As they investigate, they uncover a sinister plot to create killer robots, and Jack's son becomes a target.
