Kirstie Alley was a breakout star as Rebecca Howe on the NBC sitcom Cheers (1987–1993), earning an Emmy Award and Golden Globe in 1991. She later starred as Veronica Chase in the sitcom Veronica's Closet (1997–2000), earning additional Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Alley also appeared in films like Look Who's Talking and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, winning a second Emmy Award for her work on the television film David's Mother.
