Hollywood Story

"Hollywood Story" is a 1951 American mystery film directed by William Castle, starring Richard Conte as Larry O'Brien, a New York theatrical producer who purchases a disused studio in Hollywood and becomes fascinated by the unsolved murder of a famous silent film director, Philip Ferrara, who was found dead 20 years earlier in the studio's office. The film follows O'Brien's investigations into the case, which puts him in danger, as he interviews the surviving members of the old studio.
