Lord Jim

In 19th century Southeast Asia, a young English merchant seaman (Peter O'Toole) struggles to redeem himself after being ostracized for cowardice on his ship. He embarks on a perilous journey to help a local village purge its cruel leader, with the hope of finding redemption through bravery and honor. Along the way, he finds an unlikely ally in Jewel, a native girl who leads him to victory against overwhelming odds.
