California Dreaming

A young man from Chicago, T.T. (Dennis Christopher), moves to California to spend the summer, slowly becoming "California-ized" as he learns about love and life in the Golden State. He befriends the owner of a local hangout, Duke Slusarski (Seymour Cassel), and tries to fit in with the 'hip' surfers, including Rick (John Calvin). His relationship with his college-age daughter, Corky (Glynnis O'Connor), also evolves as he navigates his new surroundings.
