Morning Glory

Becky Fuller (Rachel McAdams), a young and devoted morning television producer, is hired as an executive producer on a struggling morning show at a once-prominent but currently failing station in New York City. She recruits Mike Pomeroy (Harrison Ford), a former news journalist and anchor who disapproves of co-hosting a show that does not deal with real news stories. With the help of Adam Bennett (Patrick Wilson), Becky sends the weatherman, Ernie, on stunts to boost ratings, but Jerry Barnes (Jeff Goldblum) remains unconvinced. As tensions rise, Mike surprisingly wants to do a story on a sauerkraut festival, which increases DayBreak's ratings enough to secure another year for the show and Becky receives a job offer from the Today show.
