Diane Keaton was a renowned American actress known for her unique personality and style, earning numerous accolades throughout her six-decade career. She began on stage, appearing in the original production of Hair (1968) and Woody Allen's Play It Again, Sam (1969), before making her screen debut in Lovers and Other Strangers (1970). Keaton rose to prominence with her role as Kay Adams in The Godfather (1972), which led to collaborations with director Woody Allen, earning an Academy Award for Annie Hall (1977).
