Kapò

In the 1960 historical war drama film "Kapò", Edith (Susan Strasberg) is a young Jewish woman deported to an extermination camp where she is forced to accept the role of a kapo, a privileged prisoner tasked with ruthlessly guarding others. With her new identity, she becomes hardened to the brutal life, forming connections with fellow prisoners, including Karl (Gianni Garko).
