Shizukana ame

A young bioarchaeologist Yukisuke (Taiga Nakano) is drawn to Koyomi (Misa Eto), a girl he buys taiyaki pastry from often, but their relationship is put to the test when Koyomi is hospitalized after a car accident, suffering from short-term memory loss that prevents her from recalling anything beyond the present day. As Yukisuke tries to navigate this new reality, the lack of shared memories starts to strain their connection. The film explores themes of memory, healing, and emotional connection, set against a backdrop of slow-burning drama and poignant emotional resonance.
