Shinsho: shinobi no mono

"Shinsho: shinobi no mono" is a 1966 Japanese action and drama film set during the end of the Tenmon Era, specifically the Sengoku period. The story follows Kojiro Kosume, the son of a gunpowder maker (played by Raizō Ichikawa), who seeks to avenge his father's brutal murder by a group of attackers at his workplace. As Kojiro grows up and enters the Tokugawa Era, he becomes determined to exact revenge on those responsible for his family's tragedy.
