Jean Harlow stars as Lola Burns, a glamorous film star who rebels against her studio, her pushy press agent E.J. "Space" Hanlon, and a family of hangers-on. She tries to adopt a baby, fall in love, and prove to the public that she's not just a sexy movie star, but a proper lady.
